Membership Refund Policy

The St. Andrew Society of São Paulo is committed to accommodating the evolving needs of our valued members and offers a transparent and equitable refund policy.

If you decide to cancel your membership or membership fee within the initial 7 days of purchase, you will be eligible for a full refund, free from any additional fees or penalties.

Beyond the 7-day period, should a force majeure event occur, such as illness or a relocation to a different city, necessitating the cancellation of your annual or monthly fee before the contracted period expires, you can request a refund proportionate to the remaining duration of the service. In essence, if you've utilized the service for one month out of an annual membership, you will receive a refund corresponding to the amount paid for the remaining 11 months.

To initiate a refund request, kindly get in touch with our office and provide the requisite information for purchase verification. We will make every effort to expedite your refund process, with a deadline of 30 days from the date of your request.

Please bear in mind that any benefits acquired or participation in exclusive member events during the period of service utilization will not be subject to refund.

Cancellation Before the Event:

If a customer wishes to cancel their participation in one of our events before it commences, they must reach out to the St. Andrew Society of São Paulo to request ticket cancellation. Refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Up to 3 days before the event: Full refund of the ticket purchase amount.

  • Less than 3 days before the event: No refund will be issued for the ticket purchase amount.

 

Cancellation During the Event:

In cases of cancellation during the event, there will be no refund of the ticket purchase amount.

Event Changes:

If there are any changes to the event, such as alterations in the date, time, location, or schedule, implemented by the St. Andrew Society of São Paulo, customers will receive advance notification. In such instances, customers may choose between retaining their ticket for the rescheduled event or requesting a full refund of the ticket purchase amount.

Event Cancellation:

In the rare event that an event organized by the St. Andrew Society of São Paulo is canceled due to force majeure, customers will receive advance notification and will be entitled to the following options:

  • Full refund of the ticket purchase amount.

  • Transfer of the amount paid to another event organized by the St. Andrew Society of São Paulo, subject to availability and the customer's preference.

 

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method originally used for purchasing the ticket. The timeframe for the refund may vary based on the payment method employed and the policies of financial institutions.
